What you'll do

• Perform routine patient-care functions under licensed providers’ direction and established protocols
• perform assigned clerical functions
• prepare and administer medications as directed by provider orders
• verify patient identity using two identifiers
• assist with special procedures, minor surgery, and diagnostic examinations
• follow infection-control practices
• perform venipuncture and other laboratory duties
• document patient information and responses in the electronic health record while maintaining confidentiality.
