The Civil Foreman, Telecommunications Construction role is onsite in the greater Portland, OR area, with compensation of $33–$48 per hour. Capstone Solutions is a locally owned telecommunications construction company serving wireless customers. The foreman leads civil construction crews and oversees site preparation, construction work, materials, equipment, and safety practices. The role also trains and mentors civil technicians and coordinates work with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.

What you'll do

• Train and mentor Civil Techs I and II
• lead crews clearing and preparing construction sites
• communicate engineering and construction drawings
• ensure materials are available
• supervise and assist crew members
• monitor safety and lead daily JHAs
• check equipment and vehicle inspections
• perform excavation, trenching, grading, concrete, rebar, backfill, and related work
• operate equipment and perform some carpentry.
