What you'll do

• Review patient files in accordance with state guidelines
• oversee assigned mid-level medical and nursing staff
• participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient-care programs
• assist with protocols and staff training
• provide medical direction and support
• facilitate referrals and communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists
• coordinate clinic medical care
• advise on patient-care and clinic policies
• maintain records
• assist with personnel interviews, hiring, and evaluation
• help resolve patient complaints and inquiries.
