Guest Service Agent

The Guest Service Agent role is onsite in Ogunquit, ME, for the season; compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The position supports The Dunes on the Waterfront, a hotel on the Ogunquit River. The agent helps deliver a positive guest stay by managing arrivals, room assignments, bookings, payments, and inquiries, while coordinating with housekeeping and breakfast staff and sharing local information with guests.

What you'll do

• Welcome guests and provide hotel information
• process mobile arrivals and remote check-in
• manage room bookings and answer questions about rooms, amenities, rates, and requests
• promote the hotel loyalty program
• verify payment methods and issue room keys
• assign and escort guests to rooms
• address billing concerns
• complete front-office reports and checklists
• coordinate breakfast service
• communicate room-status changes to housekeeping
• deliver amenities
• provide local information and assist with reservations or tours
• handle luggage and mail
• respond to guest inquiries
• report safety hazards and security concerns.
