The role contributes to the division's care for patients with complex endocrine diseases and its clinical and educational mission.

What you'll do

• Round with the inpatient diabetes team
• assess and treat patients within the applicable NP or PA scope of practice
• obtain histories and perform examinations
• order or evaluate diagnostic studies
• develop treatment plans and enter orders
• perform procedures within demonstrated competency
• document patient care
• coordinate inpatient and outpatient services
• provide patient and family education
• collaborate with supervising physicians and the healthcare team.
