Chief Innovation Officer, Federal Civilian Technology

Job overview

The Chief Innovation Officer role is based onsite in McLean, VA, with occasional remote-work flexibility and regular travel to customer sites, industry events, and agency forums. Base salary is $225,000–$300,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentive eligibility. Revolutional delivers technology solutions and mission support to federal agencies across civilian, health, and national security environments. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the executive leadership team, the officer sets the technology and innovation roadmap, directs internal research and development investments, and connects emerging technology to proposals and delivery programs. The role exists to turn technical innovation into contract wins and modernization outcomes for federal civilian customers.

What you'll do

• Set the enterprise technology and innovation roadmap
• direct IRAD priorities, budget, and return measurement
• partner with business development and capture teams on proposal solutions
• mature rapid prototyping
• build agency and industry relationships
• account for federal security, accessibility, and privacy requirements
• champion workforce innovation
• report progress and ROI to executive leadership and the board.
