What you'll do

• Operate a TMA-equipped vehicle for road construction, maintenance, and utility crews
• position the truck to shield work zones from traffic
• maintain safe following distances and placement according to traffic-control plans
• communicate with crew members, flaggers, and supervisors
• inspect the vehicle and attenuator before and after trips
• monitor traffic and adjust positioning
• follow traffic laws and safety regulations
• assist with general labor as needed
• respond appropriately to emergencies or impacts.
