Master’s-Level Behavioral Health Professional – Correctional Health

Job overview

The Master’s-Level Behavioral Health Professional role is onsite at Warren County Jail in Lebanon, OH, with a 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule and a rotating every-third-weekend schedule. Compensation is $33–$37 per hour. VitalCore Health Strategies provides correctional health care services, and this role works with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit. The professional supports effective behavioral health services for the jail’s patient population through risk assessment, care coordination, discharge planning, and clinical interventions. The role also contributes to program goals and maintains timely documentation while making independent clinical decisions with supervisory support as needed.

What you'll do

• Assess inmate risk
• coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, medical staff, community providers, and psychiatric hospitals
• support discharge planning
• assist with program and project goals
• prepare records and reports
• prioritize treatment needs
• provide crisis management and brief clinical interventions, including CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
