What you'll do

• Verify prescription orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness
• coordinate with providers to clarify orders and care
• communicate with patients about prescribed therapies
• verify orders during fulfillment
• participate in after-hours and on-call emergency prescription fulfillment
• monitor inventory
• support quality improvement and data quality activities
• help run pharmacy huddles
• supervise pharmacy staff when primary pharmacist on site
• facilitate cold-chain workflows
• acquire pharmacist licensure across multiple states.
