What you'll do

• Develop and implement SAN architecture for a large EMC-based infrastructure
• define strategic direction for SAN and backup environments
• design and implement customer storage requirements
• plan storage and backup capacity and report utilization
• create standards and processes for configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery
• troubleshoot complex SAN issues
• plan and participate in maintenance and projects
• develop technical documentation, roadmaps, presentations, and cost models
• manage and maintain SAN infrastructure as part of a team supporting 24/7/365 uptime
• architect and maintain private cloud
• perform security documentation, vulnerability scan review, assessment support, patch management, and auditing.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree, plus significant direct experience with Dell EMC products. Gov Cloud and hybrid cloud experience are desired.
