The driver operates a tractor-trailer, ensuring safe and timely transport in compliance with DOT regulations.

What you'll do

• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip).
• Inspects tractor/truck and trailer.
• Reports safety issues and repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and safe driving policies.
• Inspects trailer for proper loading and securing.
• Ensures required route paperwork is available.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured.
• Collects and secures damaged goods and returns.
• Unloads equipment, materials, and trash.
• Completes daily record of hours of service.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
