The Behavior Consultant / Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Eastern Long Island role is onsite across assigned school districts in Eastern Long Island, NY. Compensation is $40–$75 per hour for fee-for-service or $58,500–$75,000 annually; the arrangement depends on caseload and is discussed during the interview. Family of Kidz supports children with special needs and their families, with a focus on skills that promote independence and quality of life. The consultant develops and monitors individualized behavioral supports in collaboration with school teams and families. Through assessments, data analysis, staff coaching, and documentation, the role helps align behavioral programming with student needs and educational goals.
What you'll do
- Partner with school staff and families to develop evidence-based behavioral supports
- conduct functional behavior assessments
- design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
- collect and analyze behavioral data
- coach and provide feedback to classroom staff
- support IEP implementation and participate in CSE meetings
- prepare reports and documentation
- maintain confidentiality
- travel between assigned school districts for onsite consultation.
