What you'll do

• Provide quality and quantity assurance for crude and petroleum product movements
• attend custody transfers to verify compliance with company standards
• identify excessive losses and quality discrepancies
• ensure API guidelines and company measurement procedures are followed and documented
• verify volumes with independent inspectors
• measure and sample vessels, railcars, trucks, tanks, and other containers as required
• evaluate inspection companies
• witness meter proving and calibrations
• develop alerts and reports on inventory, losses, and cost savings
• respond to refinery-related issues outside regular hours.
