Shift Leader

Job overview

The Shift Leader role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with stated pay of $22 per hour. The role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and supports Smashburger’s goal of serving better burgers through service, support, and teamwork. The Shift Leader leads restaurant operations during shifts, including team performance, training, guest experience, food safety, inventory, cash procedures, and labor. The role also maintains operational checklists and supports a positive work environment.

What you'll do

• Manage front- and back-of-house employee performance
• train and onboard employees
• oversee operational checklists, line checks, opening and closing tasks, and safe and deposit logs
• manage guest experience metrics and food-safety standards
• follow food ordering, inventory, cash, and labor procedures.
