The City Driver - 3rd Shift is an onsite role based in Marshall, MO. Compensation is not specified beyond the hourly rate of $23.34 plus a $0.75 shift differential. This role supports the shipping/receiving department at a Conagra manufacturing facility. The role exists to operate semi-trucks to transfer trailers to needed locations within the facility yard. The driver ensures the safe and efficient movement of trailers to support loading and unloading operations.

What you'll do

• Perform Pre / Post trip safety check on the vehicle following DOT regulations.
• Locate Yard Tractor in the yard and bring it to the loading dock area.
• Communicate with the Loader in person or by two-way radio to identify the proper trailer.
• Ensure that the trailer doors are open and secure.
• Attach the trailer to the Yard Tractor, manually crank the landing gear up and connect the brake lines.
• Transport Trailers To and From Loading Dock.
• Secure the trailer by manually cranking the landing gear to the ground and removing the 5th wheel pin.
