What you'll do

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care community
• hire, discipline, and evaluate care team members
• facilitate meetings about resident care
• maintain quality of care
• support nursing staff recruitment, retention, development, and education
• contact physicians as needed
• review staffing and census and reassign personnel when necessary
• monitor clinical operations and resident conditions
• obtain medications, supplies, and records
• orient and support new personnel.

Why this role

Requires an active Indiana LPN or RN license in good standing, an active CPR license or ability to obtain one within 30 days, and three years of nursing experience including one year in long-term care. CPR teaching certification is preferred but not required.
