Project Manager

The Project Manager role is based in Rockville, MD, with the actual place of performance to be determined by the Government and anticipated within the National Capital Region. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the Department of Health and Human Services Program Support Center’s Intake, Suitability, and Badging Services program, contingent upon contract award. The project manager oversees contractor operations and coordinates with government stakeholders and technical staff to deliver program objectives within scope, schedule, and budget. The role provides management structure, tracks performance and costs, resolves reported issues, and supports the personnel security and HSPD-12 credentialing program.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee contractor operations and project activities
• implement organizational requirements with program leadership and government stakeholders
• provide technical direction and contract oversight
• monitor work accomplishments, costs, and labor hours
• investigate reported problems and initiate resolutions
• represent management in project meetings
• track progress and produce requested metrics, volume, logistics, and status reports
• perform project staffing and hiring tasks. Travel may be required in support of the mission.
