Recruiting Intern

The Recruiting Intern role is onsite in Mocksville, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule of up to 20 hours per week; compensation will be discussed during the interview process. The intern supports Avgol’s Human Resources team. Avgol makes lightweight nonwoven fabrics for hygiene products, including baby diapers, adult incontinence products, and feminine hygiene products. The intern assists with recruiting coordination from job posting and candidate outreach through interview scheduling and onboarding preparation. The role helps maintain accurate recruiting records, support candidate communications and events, and provide administrative support while learning recruiting processes and employment practices.

What you'll do

• Assist with posting approved openings
• review applications against minimum qualifications
• support candidate outreach and prescreening
• coordinate interviews and follow-up
• communicate with candidates about scheduling and next steps
• maintain candidate records and recruiting activity in tracking systems
• research talent sources
• support career fairs and hiring events
• prepare recruiting materials
• assist with screening, offer, and onboarding coordination as directed
• compile recruiting activity data
• protect confidential information
• support HR projects and workflow improvements.
