Job overview

The School Behavior Technician position is onsite in Glendale, CA, with compensation of $20.87–$28 per hour. Cortica partners with local schools to provide behavior therapy in educational settings as part of its neurodevelopmental care model. The technician provides one-on-one and group behavior support to students with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role implements individualized plans, supports classroom engagement and skill development, and records student progress in coordination with educators, caregivers, and Cortica’s clinical team.

What you'll do

  • Implement behavior analytic services and individualized behavior intervention plans aligned with student IEPs and school goals
  • support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care
  • collect progress and behavior data and complete documentation
  • participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and training
  • follow school safety, crisis, de-escalation, and mandated reporting protocols
  • travel between assigned work sites as needed.
