Intensive In-Home Counselor (Qualified Mental Health Professional)

The Intensive In-Home Counselor (Qualified Mental Health Professional) role is based in Chesapeake, VA, with services delivered in clients’ homes and communities across Hampton Roads. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. The counselor supports youth and their families through in-home behavioral health services. The role provides individualized, family, and group counseling and skills coaching, while coordinating care and implementing person-centered treatment plans to support clients’ behavioral, social, and recreational needs.

What you'll do

• Provide in-home and community services
• deliver behavioral, social, and recreational skills coaching and parenting skills training
• provide 24-hour crisis intervention support
• document services and patient interactions
• develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
• coordinate care
• attend supervision, meetings, and training.
