The Aircraft Mechanic I, Sheet Metal — Day Shift role is onsite in Elizabeth City, NC, with a stated pay rate of $44.45 per hour. The mechanic performs sheet metal and structural maintenance and repair to help keep aircraft in serviceable condition. The work supports depot maintenance and includes inspection, evaluation, repair, and sustainment of aircraft structures and components.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate work methods and techniques
• read and apply technical manuals, orders, blueprints, and sketches
• follow trade safety procedures and hazardous-material requirements
• perform aircraft sheet metal maintenance and repairs
• support planned depot maintenance and aircraft sustainment
• research maintenance procedures and history using technical systems and manuals.
