The Pharmacist, Per Diem (PRN), Heartland Health Center Pharmacy role is onsite in Grand Island, NE. The estimated hourly pay range is $65–$66. The pharmacy serves a community health center committed to accessible, integrated patient care. The pharmacist interprets and dispenses prescriptions, counsels patients, monitors medication therapy, and maintains medication and controlled-drug records. The role also supports pharmacy operations, inventory, technician supervision, and quality and safety programs on a flexible, as-needed basis.

What you'll do

• Interpret and fill drug orders
• provide patient information and counseling
• contact physicians about prescription questions
• dispense prescriptions and compound or prepare IV admixtures if applicable
• monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness
• maintain medication records and controlled-drug records
• supervise pharmacy technicians
• provide drug information
• participate in inventory control, education, performance improvement, and pharmacy programs
• may act as alternate store leader in the manager's absence.
