Food Service Officer

Job overview

The Food Service Officer role is onsite in Big Spring, TX, with compensation of $40 per hour. The position supports food service operations and supervision at a GEO Secured Services facility. What you'll do

• Plan and supervise food preparation and service
• maintain sanitation and safety rules
• calculate food requirements and prepare reports
• inspect food quantity, quality, and temperature
• monitor storage and inventory
• ensure meals, diets, and portions are prepared properly
• assist with staff and inmate training
• maintain inmate worker rosters and evaluate work performance
• supervise inmates and maintain security and discipline.
