Early Intervention Teacher’s Aide — Saegertown Elementary

The Early Intervention Teacher’s Aide role is onsite at Saegertown Elementary School in Saegertown, PA. The hourly rate is $21.50 for Aide I or $21.66 for Aide II. Current hours are Tuesday–Friday, 8:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.; aide hours may range from 10 to 29.5 per week and fluctuate with student attendance and needs. The role supports a center-based classroom. The aide assists teachers and support professionals with instruction, supervision, physical care, and prescribed instructional, behavioral, technical, or therapeutic activities. This support helps students participate in classroom and related services while maintaining student confidentiality.

• Assist professional staff with instruction-related activities, supervision, and physical care of students
• perform clerical, record-keeping, and instructional support duties
• carry out instructional, technical, behavioral, or therapeutic activities as prescribed and supervised
• maintain confidentiality of student information.

Why this role

First aid, CPR, and Handle With Care Behavior Management Systems or crisis prevention intervention training must be completed and maintained as appropriate. Current Act 114, Act 151, and Act 34 clearances are required. Aide I and Aide II have different education requirements.
