What you'll do

• Assist with supervision of subordinate supervisors and employees
• assign workers to receive, weigh, inspect, medically treat, and transfer livestock
• examine cattle for disease-control effectiveness and coordinate corrective action with the consulting veterinarian
• monitor handling and withdrawal records
• manage supplies inventory and department expenses
• support safety training and monitor safe practices
• monitor compliance with USDA, FDA, state, federal, and company requirements.
