Job overview

The Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist (LCSW or LPC) role is based in Ashburn, VA, with an initial fixed in-person afternoon or evening block and the opportunity for additional virtual appointments. Compensation is $50–$60 per hour. KidsWatch Pediatrics is expanding pediatric services to include child, adolescent, and family behavioral-health care. The independently licensed clinician provides assessment and therapy for children and adolescents and supports families through parent guidance and coaching. The role helps establish an integrated behavioral-health service line in coordination with pediatricians and outside providers when authorized.

What you'll do

  • Conduct behavioral-health intakes and diagnostic assessments
  • provide individual and family therapy and parent guidance
  • develop and update treatment plans
  • use screening and symptom-monitoring tools
  • conduct safety assessments when indicated
  • follow mandated-reporting and emergency procedures
  • complete clinical documentation
  • coordinate authorized care
  • meet payer requirements
  • and provide telehealth in accordance with Virginia requirements and practice policies.
