Tenor Section Leader

Job overview

The Tenor Section Leader role is onsite in Greenbelt, MD, with Wednesday evening rehearsals from 7:00–8:30 p.m. and Sunday morning Mass at 11:00 a.m. (10:30 a.m. call). The stipend is $40 per rehearsal and $70 per Mass. The role supports the choir at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church. The section leader sings with the church choir and a smaller ensemble that prepares more difficult repertoire, with some solo opportunities. The position also provides musical and pastoral support to volunteer choir members, requiring sight-reading ability, a pleasant voice, and patience.
