The Human Resources Generalist role is onsite at the Kina’ole Service Center in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 per year. The generalist helps ensure HR activities are delivered accurately and on time while supporting a positive and productive work environment. The role advises employees and leaders, administers HR processes and programs, and helps maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day HR department operations
• onboard new hires using ADP
• respond to employee and leadership inquiries
• manage the HR email inbox
• interpret policies
• advise and coach leaders and employees
• investigate employee relations claims when assigned by the HR director
• support organizational change and HR initiatives
• ensure labor-regulation compliance
• conduct new-hire orientation and explain benefits enrollment
• administer assigned programs including FMLA, leave of absence, ADA accommodations, and the learning management system
• oversee performance reviews
• maintain electronic employee records.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior HR generalist experience, or relevant legal-field experience with employment-law knowledge. A bachelor’s degree and five years of HRBP or HR generalist experience are preferred.
