The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician — Relief role is onsite in Midlothian, VA. Pay is $23–$47 per hour. Veterinary Emergency Group provides emergency veterinary care through hospitals open 24/7, 365 days a year, with a mission to help people and pets when they need it most. The technician supports emergency cases from triage through discharge, delivering nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care support. Close collaboration with veterinarians and the team helps provide compassionate care to patients and their people during urgent situations.

What you'll do

• Provide triage, nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing
• support patients and pet parents through tests and treatment
• administer medications and monitoring, including IVs and CRIs
• perform CPR
• assist with imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• use advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasound.
