Machine Operator – Peeler Machine

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Jessup, MD. Pay is $19.33–$20.33 per hour. Wm. T. Burnett produces technical foam and fiber products for automotive, bedding, filtration, furniture, and industrial markets. The operator sets up and runs the Peeler Machine to produce quality material safely and meet deadlines, following customer-specific instructions and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Review cutting and customer work instructions
• check blade, grinders, gear, yardage counter, and heat sealer during setup
• verify foam type against ticket orders
• request first-article inspection when changing thickness or orders
• inspect blocks for defects
• ensure heat-seal integrity
• record dimensional data when required
• and meet work-instruction quality standards.
