Quality Control Inspector – RMA

Job overview

The Quality Control Inspector – RMA role is onsite in Irvine, CA, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $19 per hour. The inspector supports the quality department, including RMA processing and coordination with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service teams. The role checks incoming materials, in-process components, finished products, and returned materials against quality standards. Accurate inspection records and communication of findings help the team address defects, support production, and improve inspection processes.

What you'll do

• Inspect incoming supplier deliveries, picked parts, and finished assembled products
• follow inspection procedures
• maintain accurate inspection records
• evaluate returned materials for defects, damage, or failure causes
• record RMA findings and communicate results to QC supervisors and Engineering
• collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service
• assist with onboarding and training
• cross-train across inspection areas
• provide workflow and inspection-practice feedback
• support new quality processes and tools.
