The Avionics Garmin Installer – G1000/G5000 role is onsite in Smyrna, TN, with compensation of $31–$36 per hour. Strategic Support Solutions is expanding its avionics team supporting installations on general aviation and corporate aircraft. The role installs and integrates Garmin flight deck systems and related equipment, fabricates and tests wiring harnesses, modifies cockpit panels, and performs system checks and troubleshooting. Accurate maintenance records and FAA-compliant return-to-service documentation support safe, reliable aircraft operations.

What you'll do

• Install and integrate Garmin G1000/G1000NXi and/or G5000 suites, GTN navigators, and remote LRUs
• fabricate, route, terminate, and test wiring harnesses
• modify instrument panels and consoles
• perform functional testing, ground checks, leak checks, ramp testing, and software/database configuration
• troubleshoot system faults
• integrate with legacy systems where applicable
• maintain FAA-compliant records and return-to-service sign-offs.
