Commercial Service Technician, HVAC, Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipment

Job overview

The Commercial Service Technician role is onsite in Huntsville, AL, with stated pay of $25–$45 per hour. Day & Nite AmeriServe services, repairs, installs, and maintains commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment for commercial customers. The technician diagnoses and services equipment, communicates repair recommendations to customers, and completes assigned work safely and accurately. The role includes extensive daily travel to customer and job-site locations and participation in an on-call rotation for scheduled after-hours emergency calls.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and test commercial HVAC, refrigeration, air-handling, and cooking equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• communicate repair recommendations
• complete service records and work orders
• manage parts and materials
• follow safety procedures
• participate in scheduled on-call rotation.
