Direct Care Worker / Medication Technician – Midnight Shift

The Direct Care Worker / Medication Technician role is onsite in Southfield, MI, with a night shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Compensation is $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The role supports the company’s Direct Care team in providing care to clients. The position provides supervision and direct care according to each client’s treatment plan, including assistance with daily living, medication administration and documentation, and rehabilitation objectives. It also supports a safe, clean living environment and communicates client information to the next shift.

What you'll do

• Provide direct care based on established care plans
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed
• maintain daily client documentation in electronic medical records
• communicate and hand off clients to the next shift
• perform housekeeping and infection-control tasks
• prepare or serve meals according to menus and prescribed diets.
