What you'll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• perform patient assessments, physical exams, and appropriate procedures
• order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging
• prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• perform wound care, splinting, incision and drainage, and other minor procedures
• provide patient education and discharge instructions
• document in the EMR
• collaborate with the care team.
