Precision Production Equipment Operator – Metals & Assembly

Job overview

The Precision Production Equipment Operator – Metals & Assembly role is onsite in Sherman, TX, with pay of $16.50–$19.00 per hour. This full-time position rotates through production areas including Die Cast, Knobline, Punch Press, and Stake Flag to support reliable, high-quality manufacturing output. The role exists to operate and monitor production equipment, inspect and prepare parts, and maintain accurate production records so finished components meet quality and production requirements. Cross-training across departments helps broaden machine skills while supporting safe, efficient operations.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate production equipment
• load materials according to work orders
• make basic machine adjustments
• monitor for jams, defects, and irregular operation
• visually inspect parts and use gauges or calipers
• remove, trim, assemble, and package finished parts
• document production
• maintain a clean station and follow safety and PPE procedures
• assist with changeovers, tooling, roll changes, and minor troubleshooting as trained.
