The Electrical Engineer – Electronic Systems role is onsite in Tucson, AZ. Compensation is $85,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and level. Arete Associates’ Tucson team supports advanced electronic systems used in electro-optical, sonar, embedded processing, mine-hunting, and optical applications. The engineer designs, builds, documents, troubleshoots, and tests electrical equipment and interfaces, contributing from circuit and PCB development through system integration. The work supports the team’s development and verification of systems for complex security challenges.

What you'll do

• Design, build, document, and troubleshoot electrical test equipment, fixtures, cables, and support hardware
• support PCB schematic capture, component selection, bring-up, debugging, and verification
• design cables and harnesses
• troubleshoot processors, FPGAs, sensors, circuits, interfaces, and system integration
• use electrical test equipment to diagnose and verify system behavior.
