What you'll do

• Lead care-plan conferences
• assess and document resident conditions and nursing needs
• implement physician orders
• assign and supervise nursing care
• administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments
• support staff orientation and training
• assist physicians with procedures within the scope of practice
• coordinate care with other departments
• maintain records and supplies
• and supervise the nursing unit as permitted by state law.
