The Electrical Technician role is an onsite position based in Webster, NY, with a starting pay rate of $48.51 per hour. This role supports the maintenance department at a power generation facility, contributing to the company's mission of providing clean and reliable energy. The role exists to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment ranging from 125VDC to 25KVAC. The technician ensures the continuous operation and refueling of the facility by testing, modifying, and repairing critical control devices, instrumentation, and plant equipment.

What you'll do

• Tests, modifies, repairs, and maintains protective relaying, meters, control devices, plant instrumentation, and MOVs.
• Uses advanced diagnostic equipment to trend and repair relays and control systems.
• Develops written performance and troubleshooting plans.
• Recommends improvements to schematics and systems.
• Utilizes technical specifications to perform maintenance and surveillance tests.
• Participates in the Emergency Response Plan.
