Senior Principal Engineer

Job overview

The Senior Principal Engineer role is onsite in Richland, WA, or Walla Walla, WA; compensation is $150,000–$200,000 per year. Apex's engineering teams deliver multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and support communities and environmental protection. The role leads infrastructure project delivery and business development, manages client relationships, and mentors engineers and project managers to support the growth and performance of Apex's Washington practice.

What you'll do

• Manage multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from planning through construction
• oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction
• lead business development and client relationship efforts
• provide technical leadership on roadway, highway, intersection, bridge, multimodal, and corridor projects
• coordinate engineering disciplines
• prepare and review technical reports and design documents
• mentor staff
• and represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
