What you'll do

• Perform routine respiratory therapy procedures, including IPPB, oxygen, and humidity/aerosol therapy
• establish and maintain ventilation and airway care
• provide ventilatory support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• perform advanced techniques including invasive pressure monitoring, nitric oxide and other gas administration, and arterial blood gas collection
• assist physicians with catheter insertion as needed
• assess and report patient responses
• educate patients, families, students, and staff
• maintain equipment
• participate in improvement opportunities.
