Paraprofessional / Direct Support Professional (IDD Services)

The Paraprofessional / Direct Support Professional (IDD Services) role is onsite in Butner, NC, with compensation of $11–$13 per hour and a flexible schedule. Alpha Management Services provides community living and support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides periodic respite support for a five-year-old child and helps build independence, daily living skills, and quality of life. It supports the individual in home or community settings while following the Individual Support Plan and caregiver instructions and communicating with families and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Provide supervision and care in home or community settings
• assist with activities of daily living as needed
• maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• engage the individual in recreational and social activities
• follow the Individual Support Plan and caregiver instructions
• monitor and report health, safety, or behavioral concerns
• maintain professional boundaries
• complete timely service notes
• communicate with families and supervisors.
