The Security Associate, 1st Shift role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV, with pay of $17 per hour. Carvana’s Safe & Secure team protects associates, customers, and vehicles at its locations and supports safe, continuous site operations. The role exists to secure the site, manage vehicle and visitor movement, identify hazards, and provide accurate operational information to leadership. The associate monitors cameras and alerts, operates gate procedures and scanning tools, supports emergency response, and works with Inspection Center and Logistics teams.

What you'll do

• Serve as the gate contact for associates, vendors, and visitors
• monitor cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts using the Unified Security Platform
• enforce ingress and egress procedures with the Safe & Secure App and RFID technology
• document vehicle movement and scan vehicles
• follow emergency protocols and use first aid, CPR, and AED training when needed
• conduct safety audits, identify hazards, support weather-related site operations, and report vehicle-location research.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday and Tuesday 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.; open availability is highly preferred. Full-time hourly role with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, student loan support, vehicle discounts, pet benefits, and wellness resources. Visa sponsorship is not available.
