The Gastroenterologist role is onsite in Renton, WA, with compensation open to discussion and no numeric amount specified. The position is with a well-established regional medical center serving Renton and surrounding communities, with inpatient and outpatient services and advanced diagnostic and endoscopic technology. The physician evaluates, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, performs endoscopic procedures, and provides inpatient consultations as needed. Collaboration with primary care, surgery, hospital medicine, and oncology supports coordinated digestive care and patient education.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBD, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and colorectal conditions
• perform EGD, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• evaluate inpatient GI consults as needed
• interpret imaging, pathology, and laboratory results
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• educate patients on prevention, nutrition, and treatment
• document care in the EMR
• participate in quality improvement and follow clinical guidelines.
