Operations Director

The Operations Director role is onsite in Bonita Springs, FL, with compensation of $80,000–$100,000 per year. Arts Bonita is a multidisciplinary cultural organization with visual and performing arts programs, festivals, classes, and community outreach. Reporting to the President and CEO and serving on the Executive Team, the director develops operational systems and practices that support organizational growth. The role coordinates facilities, staff, budgets, events, vendors, and expansion projects across two campuses.

What you'll do

• Develop policies, procedures, and workflows
• train staff and maintain procedure manuals
• establish project tracking and operational goals
• oversee facilities, maintenance, security, scheduling, space use, and equipment across two campuses
• supervise assigned staff
• coordinate operational support for programs and events
• manage artist contract workflows, rentals, vendors, and service contracts
• monitor budgets and costs
• participate in campus planning and expansion
• and maintain safety and continuity plans.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive experience in operations, administration, facilities, event operations, contract coordination, or organizational leadership. Master’s degree and experience in cultural or nonprofit operations are preferred. Annual performance-based bonus opportunity is not guaranteed.
