Structural Project Engineer, Bridges (Hybrid)

The Structural Project Engineer, Bridges role is hybrid, with three days in the Chicago, IL office and two days remote. Compensation is $104,000–$124,000 per year. The engineer contributes to bridge rehabilitation and design by analyzing, inspecting, load-rating, and designing structures, preparing calculations and project documents, and coordinating work with project and technical managers. The role supports delivery of bridge projects that meet applicable Department of Transportation standards and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review structural and geometric calculations, finite element analysis models, bridge load-rating reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items.
• Maintain assigned design calculation files and plans with independent quality-control reviews, and coordinate tasks with the Project/Technical Manager.
