On-the-Job Trainee Dental Assistant

The On-the-Job Trainee Dental Assistant role is onsite in Hanson, MA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Hanson Family Dental offers on-the-job training intended to prepare the candidate to become a Registered Dental Assistant within six months.

What you'll do

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
• prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure supplies are available
• take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• maintain patient records
• educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• follow infection-control protocols
• collaborate with the dental team
• and use software for scheduling and patient information. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be over 18. The role expects CPR/BLS certification and completion of specified infection-control, ethics, and radiation-safety training.
