What you'll do

• Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications
• review applications and supporting documents for completeness
• verify education, training, licenses, and references
• serve as the practitioner contact during applications
• monitor expiring credentials
• maintain the credentialing database and files
• prepare reports for Medical Staff Committee meetings
• understand state and CMS credentialing standards.
