What you'll do

• Purchase lumber, connector plates, hardware, and production supplies
• monitor inventory and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and controls
• reduce waste and carrying costs
• manage vendor relationships, pricing, lead times, and terms
• monitor lumber market movement
• supervise receiving, yard, and warehouse employees and processes
• coordinate with the Production Scheduler and Plant Manager
• maintain records
• support job costing and inventory valuation
• uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
