What you'll do

• Prepare and administer medications according to established procedures
• verify resident identity and document medication, dosage, and administration time
• consult an appropriate licensed practitioner about potentially inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated orders and notify a supervisor when withholding administration
• take and record vital signs when required
• order and reorder medications
• maintain medication rooms and carts
• complete required documentation.
